Boutique Hotel Alpina is still influenced by the everyday qualities that have characterized Lech am Arlberg for centuries: Architecture and craftsmanship, culinary art and agriculture. The connection to nature and the appreciation of food and materials from our immediate surroundings can be felt everywhere.

Unforgettable winter vacations in Lech. The old Stube, rebuilt historic parlor of the Strolz family's ancestral home, is still the heart of the Alpina. The cozy Alpine architecture has been complemented by new elements of contemporary craftsmanship. Guests dine at tables made from elm wood by Bruno's son Severin during his internship in a Bregenzerwald carpentry workshop.

Culinary delights in the Alps: In the Stube, Mrs. Milka and her team serve fresh egg dishes, sausage and cheese specialties from Lech farmers and a special, healthy porridge for breakfast. The afternoon snack also pampers the palate with many delicacies from the region. Highlights of the week are the homemade plaited bread on Sunday and the apple strudel with vanilla sauce on Friday afternoon. If you're lucky, you'll also experience dinner in the good old parlor with Mrs. Milka's tender boiled beef or cheese spaetzle prepared by the master of the house on the wood stove.

Anyone entering the Alpina Lech is welcomed in our guest living room designed by architect Birgit Elsensohn. A jewel of the alpine way of life and a place of encounter. Here the wood crackles in the open fireplace. The century-old wood from the Strolz family's original house was reused for the floorboards. The cozy part of the day begins with an aperitif from the well-stocked trust bar. Supplied with restaurant recommendations from your host Bruno, nothing stands in the way of an enjoyable evening in the winter paradise of Lech.

Our hut on the Buehlmahd in Zuers is a special relic from Alpina Lech's rural past. It was once used to store mountain hay in summer, before it was brought to Lech on sledges. A few years ago, the barn was given a new location on a small plateau. Bruno has since converted it into a gem of Alpine architecture with the help of craftsmen from the Lech Valley. Every now and then, he and his guests stop in for a schnapps and a snack. Sit, talk, enjoy and marvel at the beautiful and unique mountain world.Â
