Bruno and Gabriele recommend

Golden moments in the snow

Skiing is Bruno and Gabriele's great passion. As Austria's largest ski area, the Arlberg promises endless moments of joy.

Since we live so close to the ski area and the Rüfikopf cable car or the Schlegelkopf chairlift are just a few minutes’ walk away, we still go skiing often. What we especially appreciate is the option to ski down the Madloch run, which branches off toward Lech. Once we arrive in Lech, it’s just a short walk to the Alpina.

What insider tips can you share with Alpina guests?

We have something special in store for early birds. If you get up early, you can tackle the Weißen Ring via the Madloch run through Lech before the legendary Alpina breakfast. Just hop out of bed, take the first cable car up to the Rüfikopf, and off you go. If you want to take a shortcut, hop on the bus to Zürs and, after a few runs on the freshly groomed slopes, head back via Madloch to our Hotel Alpina. There, a delicious breakfast awaits—and it tastes even better now.
